Joe Carroll

Joe Carroll is the AWS Director for Partners for the UK and Ireland, where he leads the AWS partner ecosystem across the region where he is responsible for building and scaling strategic relationships with major consulting firms, system integrators, independent software vendors, and emerging AI and agentic technology partners who are driving digital transformation across the economy. 

 Prior to leading the UKI partner business, Joe served as General Manager for the Telco, Media, Entertainment, Games and Sports industries in the UK, supporting customers leveraging cloud technology as a business growth enabler. Before that, he was the Chief Operating Officer for the AWS UKI/EU business, responsible for end-to-end management of sales and business expansion activities. 

Before joining AWS, Joe spent over 20 years in sales and business development leadership roles at leading technology and financial services companies, including HP and the Rothschild banking group. 

Joe is a Loughborough University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Psychology. He also serves as a board member at Cancer Research UK and Business in the Community.
